Engagement models

From a single call to a program partnership.

Mad Emu engagements scale with the program. Rates are project-specific — what we publish are the three ways procurement and delivery teams usually start working with us.

FAQ

Practical answers.

Do you publish day rates?+

Day rates depend on scope, location and the allied partners involved. We provide an indicative rate card with every capability call so procurement teams have a starting reference.

Can you sub-contract to a Tier 1 head contractor?+

Yes. Mad Emu carries pre-qualification packs for the major Tier 1 contractors and can mobilise under a sub-contract or as a head agreement holder.

How does Indigenous procurement reporting work?+

We map your IPP commitments to the engagement and report monthly against participation, spend and training KPIs. Format aligns to Supply Nation, NSW ICC, Buy NSW and program-specific dashboards.

Do you carry the insurances Tier 1 frameworks require?+

Yes — public liability ($20M), workers compensation, professional indemnity and product liability. Higher cover available by request.

How fast can you mobilise?+

For the owned plant pool, typically 5–10 business days from PO. Allied-partner scopes depend on availability, but we shortlist within 48 hours.

Find the right shape

Send the scope. We'll bring back a shaped engagement.

A 30-minute scope shaping call is usually enough to settle the engagement model — fixed package, T&M or framework — and the compliance footprint.
